Two Pups was sent a plea from Stealing Hearts Rescue regarding Cali, a 2-year-old Cane Corso. She was purchased by a man that kept her in a crate that was too small for 20 hours a day until she was almost two years old.  A family member took her from him and asked Stealing Hearts for help with an assessment so she could be properly placed for adoption. During the assessment they found she was very malnourished, had severe ear infections and sores all over her body. She also had entropion, which is a common eye condition for this breed, but can only be corrected by surgery. Cali had her eye surgery and is healing. At our last check she was with a trainer and doing great.
