 Two Pups Wellness Fund launches new program at adoption event

WHAT:  Two Pups Wellness Fund is kicking off its new program, “Grown Pups for Grown Ups” with a major adoption event with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control Shelters.

“Luck of the Pup,” will include an evening of food trucks, swag bags, and most importantly—free adoptions of dogs, five years and older. The goal is to pair surrendered or abandoned, mature dogs with loving, forever homes. Two Pups Wellness Fund, under its Grown Pups for Grown Ups program, will provide  medical support to rule out significant disease prior to adoption and free treatment for treatable health issues.

Note: There will also be puppies and Shelter Super Heroes (highly adoptable dogs) available for adoption, but the fees are not waived.

ABOUT: Nancy Silver, co-owner of The Paper Place, established the Two Pups Wellness Fund in 2017 through the Arizona Community Foundation. The organization raises funds to help rescue and shelter dogs in need of medical treatment. Since its inception, it has helped more than 1500 animals receive vital medical care. Most recently, Two Pups funded a new state-of-the-art dental machine and orthopedic equipment at MCACC, which will improve the overall health of homeless neglected animals and make them more adoptable. Candids with Cupid for a Cause

Sunday, Feb. 10. benefiting Two Pups Wellness Fund

WHAT:  The Paper Place is hosting, “Candids with Cupid” to benefit Two Pups Wellness Fund. Animal lovers are invited to bring their favorite furry friends and have their photos taken by acclaimed local photographer, Christine Johnson. Attendees will receive a full-color photo, supplies to create your own Valentine photo card and creative guidance from The . Paper Place experts.

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control will also be on site with “Will You Be Mine” pet adoptions.

Refreshments for pets and their owners will be served.

Howliday Photos with Santa Going to the Dogs!

Santa is coming to The Paper Place in Scottsdale and he will be posing with pets and their humans to raise money for Two Pups Wellness Fund! All participants will receive print and email copies of photos.

Two Pups will also be selling their Chavez for charity bracelets. For those that wish to do some additional holiday shopping, The Paper Place will be donating a percentage of proceeds from sales that day, Light refreshments will be served.

Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) will be onsite for mobile pet adoption…a perfect holiday gift!
