Two-year-old Shadow was found emaciated and alone on the side of a road. A wonderful human stopped and picked him up, but several local shelters and rescues had to turn them away—they had no room to help.  The wonderful human came across K9 Konnection. and Shadow finally found the refuge he needed.

Shadow was severely dehydrated, emaciated, and fighting for his life. Emergency testing confirmed he was suffering from Valley Fever. Days later, Shadow experienced a seizure, requiring immediate hospitalization. He continues to struggle with the illness but is now receiving an infusion of new medication to help save him. TWO PUPS MEDICAL SURGICAL FUND is sponsoring his urgent vet care, including the expensive infusions, and closely monitoring his path back to health.
