Sparky

Sparky

Heartworm is a potentially fatal disease that is transmitted by mosquitoes. It does not spread directly from dog to dog. If left untreated, most dogs with the disease will die of heart failure. Little Sparky, only 18 months old, was pulled from a shelter by Alone No More with behavior issues. Routine testing revealed that he was suffering from Heartworm! Two Pups received a plea for help with treatment for Sparky and we gladly agreed. Sparky is now on medication to treat the disease and after only a week, has shown how happy and loving he really is. His treatment is a journey, but thanks to the medical help, this adorable pup will thrive.
