Nazzy

Nazzy

Nazzy and her mom entered the shelter in need of help. Nazzy was suffering from severe allergies. We were thrilled to answer her call. Below is a letter from one of the shelter directors I thought you may enjoy. Nazzy is now at home and feeling great.

“Thank you so much for agreeing to try and help Ms. Northrop. She is sincerely struggling and did not want to give up her dog but had done it in hopes that we could provide something she couldn’t. She had been begging to just spend a few minutes with the little dog she had given up several days ago.  After hearing her story, my heart went out to her and I was sure hoping we could help. It is so nice to be able to do so! That has not always been the case. Also, being able to address these types of situations on a case by case basis can really help to remind me to SEE every customer and every situation with fresh eyes. The people and scenarios that walk through our doors are not all the same and there are a lot of people out there who care deeply for their animals and are trying to do what they think is right. This woman was so unbelievably grateful. I hope you get to speak to her. I am forwarding a couple photos of her with her dog. I know she will not be able to easily send any because she has no phone and no computer. She said she will wait by the phone and will do anything we ask of her. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. I would be happy to make arrangements, but I will leave it up to you to advise if you want me to. Thank you again.”
